GGG couldn't get a good enough fight in his own weight division and I'm glad because this is going to be a proper tasty one.

If Brook hasn't lost much speed then I fancy him.

All a load of old s**t, I think.
Khan fights Canelo then loses and it's because he had to step up 2 weights , excuse at the ready.
I expect the same will happen with Brook.
GGG should have fought Canelo and Brook v Khan.
I'm still looking forward to the fight and hope I'm wrong.
Said it before that Brooks division needs a ' super 6 ' type of tournament to see who's the best. Brook, Khan, porter, thurman etc

I'm not an expert boxing fan but what I have seen of GGG he is brutal. Really can't seen Brook going up 2 weights against a guy who is 32 KOs from 35 and have any sort of chance.

I also agree apart from the Super 6 stuff. Fight at your own weight, if the fights are there, and stop giving away belts to go and fight at another weight.

The catchweight fights are ridiculous, as are the ever more tenuous belts like WBA "super" or WBC "silver".

Stripping a fighter of the belt unless they immediately take a manatory is getting equally annoying.

I'm talking about a super 6 in the welterweight div.
thurman, Garcia, Khan, brook, porter,broner that's a decent 6 ( especially as we'd see broner getting bashed up regularly) without putting much thought into it.

GGG will probably win and win early.

If they threw a few kicks and knees it would be a bit more interesting though. Boxing is "boring" compared to full stand up fighting imo.

I just didn't like the Super 6 concept. It took too long to sort out and was overcomplicated. A knockout series of 8 fighters (QF, SF, F) to find one champion inside 12 to 15 months would be fine.

Plus a long tournament would leave someone like Errol Spence jr sat twiddling his thumbs for ages.
