Obviously goes without saying that strikers are our priorities but City willing to listen to offers in or around £17m region. Goal scoring CAM, anyone think he'd be worth a look?

Definitely sign him as an attacking midfielder. Although considering that price tag. Unlikely to happen.

I've been mentioning him on here for the last few months alongside Mata or Fabregas as players we nend. Clearly not all 3 but any one of the 3 would be fine with me.

If he comes to a pre-season at Manchitty with Pep as his manager unfit/overweight - what chances have we got of him being motivated for us?. Not for me.

Not for me. unfit/overweight for Guardiola is still probably ok for us, we do for instance have Sako who looks constantly overweight. I think Guardiola probably sets his expectations higher than typical even for the top teams.

Love your optimism Lyons. But any of those wouldn't consider us I don't think. We do need a cam as it stands, but for me nasri is a shadow of what he was due to injury.

If Nasri were in top nick we wouldn't have a hope of signing him. As it is, we might. Would be a calculated risk that we could get him looking like an athlete and back on form, in which case he has shown he can be one of the most creative and influential players in the league (albeit not really since at City). Get him and Bony and see if we can get a bulk buy discount. Would much prefer the pair of them to one Benteke.
