There seems to be less pubs around the local area nowadays and I was just wondering where everyone goes to drink before a typical 3pm Palace home game. Can anyone recommend a pub with a decent beer garden that is not heaving like the Cherry Trees?

They all get pretty busy within an hour or two of kick off. The Victory club might be your best bet.

I live in Sanderstead. Nearest pub is The Purley Arms. Hardly a walk around the corner.

Porter and Sorter or the Builders, then get the train from East Croydon. Or forego the beer garden and hang around at the front of the Two Brewers or the White Horse (HF pub so a bit rowdy)
