Or as I like to call him Moseph Farage ( makes him feel more English), fair play, got tripped up and still got up and won the 10000 meters.
Blinding effort.

Maybe we should make all our children live in Mogadishu, Somalia in their early lives to stop them becoming little lardarses playing on game consoles and actually running about as well as foraging for food rather than being taken for a car ride to MacDonalds?

Would be a travesty if he didn't win SPOTY

Not a popular view I know but I still think their are questions over him.

The dodginess of Salazar / Oregon as well as the Kenyans all leave a slightly bitter taste.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

As for SPOTY there'll be a fair few strong contenders this year.

Whitlock, Froome, Trott, Kenny and if he wins tonight Murray.

The betting is quite odd - Murray is Evens favourite despite winning last year - you'd think they want to give to someone else. Froome is as big as 33/1 despite 3 TDFs ! Perhaps the fact he didn't do much at the olympics?

Farah has to win, back to back Olympics, double world champion. Think of the dross that have won before: McColgen, Zara Phillips, Giggs, Cavendish

Murray has won it 2 of the last 4 years so shouldn't win it again this year. Ok he won Wimbledon and the Olympics but Novak got knocked out early leaving the way open for him. Mo has to be the winner IMO double gold 2012 (won by Wiggins) double world champion 2014 ( won by Hamilton ) and if all goes to plan double gold 2016. The time has come for it to be him me thinks. Trott, Froome, Whitlock have all been fantastic and there time will come im sure.

Not many people can win the 10,000 metres gold and get a 8.5 mark for a forward roll while they're at it.

He does deserve SPOTY if he wins the double again but I bet it goes to Whitlock.

Just don't leave one of the twins there and then lose track of him for about ten years.

Ironically that twin is far lardier than Mo.

Froome isn't a star outside of cycling, whereas Wiggins had moved into the realm of celebrity with his win and had Olympic success behind him already. Froome only has two bronze medals as it's not his main aim which is multiple wins of le tour (+ a Vuelta and/or Giro if he can do it).

Murray is Wimbledon champ which is a home event, and gets far more viewers than le tour. Double Olympic gold medallist, again with a home win, and is current David cup champ and still defending it. No surprise he's much shorter odds with all that.

McColgen was not only a lame winner, she robbed it off Bob Nudd for angling despite him getting the most votes.
