A Forest supporting friend of mine seems to think there's legs in a Palace double swoop for both Oliver Burke and Britt Assombalonga. He seems quite adamant that we've gone in with a £20 million bid for the pair.

Can't really determine how reliable this information is, however, if true I'd be very happy with this bit of business to conclude our transfer activity.

A transfer wouldn't be a transfer window without a good old double swoop.

100% this deal could happen, knew this from a very reliable source ages ago. Thing is he's no longer 'top' of our list (source didn't tell me any names as to who is unfortunately as he is 'sworn to secrecy') but cpfc, fiorentina and the player are on tentative discussions.

Personally, I look at his record and think he's not good enough.

I think Pardew is looking at playing 2 upfront. Looking at a player who can play the role that Bolassie reluctantly played. Britt fits the bill well or Remy. I think Pardew suggested Wickham playing alongside Benteke but don't believe will work so well
