Bet he's got a cushy job lined up...

Where does he come in the top ten Tory PM's?

I don't think he was too bad but I preferred it when they in coalition. They seemed to have the right balance. He will forever be the PM that took the UK out of Europe. Depending on one's views that is either a good or a bad thing.

I don't think anyone yet can be certain that its a good or bad thing - Only that its happening. What concerns me is that we seem to be going into this without a democratic mandate of how we're going to leave Europe and proceed once we do.

The decision of in or out, isn't really of any great magnitude, its how you migrate and account for that change which really matters.

So what? Better that than bleed off the public coffers like Brown did, while not even attempting to carry on his work as MP.

Of my lifetime he's Number 1, as he gave the referendum. The jocks should say the same, but they won't.

Of my voting lifetime, he's the only Tory PM other than May.

Optimistic as ever

Depends on your point of view. Once upon a time resigning when you realise you've lost the electorate was a seen as acting on a matter of principal.

Shame other leaders (Jezza) don't have the same view.

Agree, totally, quite a nice seat if you can put up with the neighbours.

Did the honourable thing and got out before doing any more damage.

That Angela Eagle is a right "Thing" in the article in my opinion and needs to get a life.....

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.
