Yesterday my 85 year old Dad and I cycled London to Brighton. My Dad first saw Palace in about 1950, when on leave from the Navy and still occasionally attends. I am trying to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. My brother in law died - far too young - of a heart attach earlier this year. But my Dad still rides on, with a stent fitted to his heart, at a great age. I don't know many people who are still active in sports when they are are nearer 90 than 80..

Many thanks to those of you who donated to my Dad's just Giving page, following his epic ride - at the age of 85(!) from London to Brighton. We are currently at 95% of the £500 target. My Dad is chuffed to have raised the money - it made the suspicisous looks he got for wearing his Palace Shirt on the Brighton see front well worth it! If any of who would like to donate to to get us over the line of £500, we'd be really grateful! [Link]

I'm sporty but this puts me to shame, let alone those who are inactive. You've got a Dad to be very proud of mate.
