Mandanda - 6 Not a lot to do, a few simple shots to save.
Ward - 6 Got the ball stuck under his feet on a few occasions but a fair few vital tackles and interceptions
Dann - 8 Another glorious headed goal, kept Bony quiet. One cocky moment where he got caught on the ball.
Tomkins - 7 Scored and worked well with Dann at the back
Kelly - 7 Great supporter of attacks down the left, got caught a couple of times at the end, might have done better in the lead up to their goal.
Ledley - 8 Solid, kept the ball ticking over well
McArthur - 9 MOTM for me, ridiculous number of interceptions and tackles won all game, like a rash all over the Stoke midfielders plus a goal to top it off.
Puncheon - 7 Quietly effective, similar to Ledley. Some vital defensive work.
Zaha - 6 Didn't often have a go at Martins Indi who I thought marshalled him well.
Townsend - 9 At the centre of everything, crosses, free kicks, shots. One assist, one goal plus practically set up McArthur's goal with a great run around the back of the Stoke defence so JM could cut in. Brilliant service.
Benteke - 8 Holds up the ball with such ease, makes game management that much easier. Should have scored from that one header off the line.

Subs:
Delaney - 6 stepped in well, affected our passing game admittedly.
Lee - 6 Didn't disrupt the game, like how he moves the play around and pulls the opposition out of position.
Flamini - 5 One mistake that we nearly conceded from, a touch rusty but distribution looked good there after. Probably the hardest position to come in as a sub so we looked a bit more panicked defensively when he came on, could he have done more to get out to Arnautovic at the end?

Pardew - 8 Praise warranted for whatever they did for set pieces this week, also integrated Ledley and McArthur in their most natural roles, system played to every players strength, defence looked sound overall.

I thought Zaha has a very good game and his workrate is excellent.

Benteke hasn't shown any of the "laziness" that some warned us about.

Ledley was very good, I prefer him with McArthur to Cabaye. Whilst Cabaye is a more gifted footballer, too many times he will stop and put his foot on the ball whilst Ledley will just keep the ball rolling. He may not be spectacular but I think he is a better fit.

As for Jimmy, what a player

the dignified don't even enter in the game
