Last two games Palace have looked very comfortable
We dominated todays game v Sunderland as well as Stoke
Now we actually get crosses in the box we look like scoring
Defensively we look sound
Lets give a bit of credit to AP for today
He brings on Fryers to get us more offensive , he crossed first touch we score
Then freakily he brings on Chung and his first touch leads to another goal
We are looking a top 10 team again

Yesterday was all the more impressive without Dann, Zaha and Pape; plus our subs delivering.

Now approaching a first XI and bench of good quality.

No mate. Yesterday our defence looked and was unsound. Same on Wednesday. Hope we get a bit of solidity in time for the big boys

Our defence looks anything but sound. However, so long as we keep scoring more goals than we concede, I'm happy.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

That used to be the Kevin Keegan mantra. Who cares if we concede six goals as long as we score seven

You can see the change in our play it did cost us a goal but its for the better IMO. The next three games are a massive test Liverpool will press our defenders but that should open them up for the long ball to Benteke.

Yes we gone from Pulis to Keegan - one extreme to the other - and I know which I prefer.

This is the thing. I dont think it's possible to play expansive football in this league and keep clean sheets.. how many have City kept so far, 1 I think?

But so much better to watch us having a go rather than trying to nick things on the break, which is how I feel we've been playing for years.. pardew is in the process of doing a bit of a miracle and making palace fun to watch!

With all the whole worry of the defence I think it's important to pick out that Scott Dann will be returning soon.

Also, I really can only think of the second goal in which our defence was un-done yesterday. Joe Ledley gave away the first, mistake that wont happen again, that led to a very unnecessary opening goal. The second was not great, to many ball watchers with no one picking up Defoe, that does need to improve.

Apart from that we dominated (while playing excellent football at times) both the first and second half.

Happy days

Pardew deserves great credit for yesterday and our excellent results over the last 3 games are a superb platform in terms of confidence,to move forward as we meet the so called bigger teams, like Everton and Liverpool etc.
