Nick Krygios the tennis player gave up the other day in the Shanghai Open and threw his match. He has said "I don't love this sport but I don't know what else I could do". I wonder how many Prem players suffer from the same problem. For example Rooney puts in a professional shift but he looks bored sh#tless most of the time.

Or more correctly, he doesn't know what he could do that pays so well, because the answer is almost anything else, as he is only 21. That pretty much gives him the option of doing anything.

Annoying thing with him is that he's an entertaining player when he's on form and he gets through his service quicker than any player ever. Which is far preferable to Novak insisting he bounces the ball 20 odd times or Nadal doing the hair behind the ears, pull the wedgie out of his arse routine.

In an individual sport I suppose you can choose to do what you want. We've seen boxers in the ring who wouldn't throw a punch.
