I felt Leicester just edged it today
3-1 was flattering to them
Cabaye is looking better last couple games but for me still not a starter with him and medley in midfield we don't have enough pace in there
Kelly and Tompkins also look a bit sluggish
Apart from that , all in all we look a stronger team than last year and I expect us to finish comfortably in mid table

we looked good in spells but still not defending tightly enough.

we need defensive improvements, wether that comes from players we already have or new signings...

They had 4 shots on target scored 3 we had 7 shots on target scored 1....says it all.

3-1 was harsh, but we tend to switch off for chunks of the game which against good sides will be punished.

Thought Cabaye was really poor, caught in possession numerous times. Expect a lot more from him

Cabaye was flat as a pancake and the midfield was statuesque (in the sense of 'immobile' rather than 'imposing'). The defending was a shambles and the attack was decent in spells but over-reliant on Benteke.

I'm starting to like Fryers though.

From what I saw I didn't think cabaye was any worse than ledley or jimmy Mac. That said, I'm not sure anyone had a good game today!

Personally I think we missed Puncheons composure on the ball and closing down when the opposition had it.

Leicester edged it but 3 - 1 def flattered them. I met up with some Leicester mates after the game and they thought Leicester were fortunate to get all 3 points.

Leicester seemed really good at blocking our shots today - they defend with real heart.

Funny how we all see a game?
The first half an hour or so I thought we were outstanding and completely bullied them.
I think Cabaye has been average since he turned up but was outstanding in the first half.
Pardew summed it up when he said we were poor in the top third.
Townsend will have better days, Wilf got doubled up for most of the game and Benteke had an off day.
Never a 3-1 but we will play worse this season and win.

Thought we lacked any urgency 1st half, maybe thought we could nullify the game. Didn't work. Still, we are capable of beating most opponents, hope" we "make Saturday under the lights another reality check for those travelling faithful.
