I agree with almost everything except I thought Cabaye was pretty good today. And he went the full 90. We'll probably finish bottom of mid table but we need to win the games against mid table teams. And we need to get some defensive help. Defense is just not good enough and it's getting exposed too often. Tomkins was not the upgrade they thought he was going to be.

I sort of agree with the defensive issue but it if you look at most of the teams at the moment, even at the top,they all have defensive problems. Just look at Liverpool today. Yeah we need to tighten up a little but we do also need to get a killer instinct. And it needs to start next weekend!!

I also think we will be OK, our defence looked weak today but Dann didn't seem to be fully fit after his injury.

Benteke got very little service but against weaker teams he will.

I was suprised the Macarthur was taken off, I thought that Cabaye was the weaker of the two today.

I thought Lee was our weakest player today and we looked a bigger threat with Townsend on.

But overall I still think that this is one of the strongest Palace sides I have seen

Mid table is not good enough should be busting a gut to get top 10 and we are not.

Good teams play as a team, we are not. Work rate nowhere enough except for one shining light Jimmy Mac.

Benteke, you in particular have to roll your sleeves up and put yourself about, forget your price tag and graft. Can't get by on skill alone!

Wilf, stop diving and concentrate on your end product.

AP, show you are a PL manager, inspire the players and bind them together to develop that all important team spirit so that teams coming to Selhurst Park know they are in for a battle. Of course having the right team selected and the tactics to match helps but the that's why you are the manager.

Finally let's not loose sight of the fact that we have conceded 7 goals in 2 games which is definitely not top 10 form and unacceptable.

Awful defending plus officials almost in the Clattenburg league,umpteen innocuous fouls given ,except those in the penalty area.
Thought we played well second half Wilf had a great game, the first foul in the box 100% penalty,and I cannot understand why the lino didn't flag.
Cabaye and Punch added a bit more composure and should start next week.Chungy works hard but sadly he's not quite strong enough enough for the Premier League .
