Seems like a very good chance of the season finishing like that predicted. Or it will if teams don't change managers, team in January... For us we need to avoid another winless run or our position will be a lot worse. To be honest I cannot see it being much better and would be delighted if we could stay up and achieve our record length of stay in the top flight.

I'd also be happy with 13th. Which would put us top of the bottom third of teams in the Prem. More realistic than people assuming we should finish in the top ten or even top 6!!

It's methodology appears to be based on assessing the results between teams over four seasons, where the data is available, and doesn't therefore take into account managerial or personnel changes. I'd be interested to know what it's predictions were at the start of last season as, by relying on historical data, it's most unlikely it would have correctly predicted the champions.

Nothing in it but this places us 14th at the end of the season. Thirteen is our current position. Pity it can't tell us where our next 3 points is coming from?

I think we'll scrape 17th but it'll come down to the last game of the season. I do hope we finish higher but at the moment I just can't see where the points are going to come fron.
