Genuinely, Wilfred Zaha is looking out of this world this season. Second half he was utterly brilliant. On this form this will be his last season at Selhurst, which is a bit gutting. Most exciting winger I've ever seen at palace and we've had a few. Starting to deliver an end product. Benteke should have scored at least two from his delivery today.

Well said, laddo!

Despite today's late setback, there are reasons to be cheerful.

Wilf will be gone, even if we stay up. It's his time, unfortunate, but true.

He doesn't score enough goals. He should have buried that chance in the first half. However he had a good game.

Sorry Guys! From half a world away in Oz I cant see the way forward. This team seems to have no passion whatsoever. To lose to Burnley is incompetence, with effort and a desire is all that was needed.
Solution Pardew! demote and sell MANDANDA he's absolutely useless, hasn't done anything to justify his place.
Where has Zaha's juggling gone, and even Yohanne seems to have lost the plot.
We used to have a solid back line, so what are they doing at training sessions, I am beginning to lose faith after 58 yrs of support. Save the stadium money, it'll be a waste as your going back into Championship at this rate.
At least TRY to win and justify your overpriced incomes......

Don't think the passion was lacking today, it was the defending. If we'd nicked a goal from the free kick at end instead of Burnley doing us on the break your analysis about lacking passion would look absolutely ridiculous. Tighten the defence, & press like we did today will bring the results. Surprised you can't see that.

I agree with Woody6013. There also does not seem to be any cohesion in the team. In Pulis' day the back four knew what they were doing and where each player was so that balls played out of defence were passed to a Palace player. The midfield don't seem capable in passing the ball to a Palace player so the attack breaks down over and over again. Where is AP's strategy? Hoof the ball to Benteke every chance you can get. Is that too hard to defend against. Benteke does not show much of his previous form as he is too slow on the ball when he does get it. I have long been a supporter of AP but he is now bereft of ideas. Townsend was trying to do too much on his own to impress Southgate, who was in the Stand, to try to get back as a regular in the England setup. I have been a Palace supporter for too long not to recognise an unstoppable downhill spiral to the Championship.

Sorry, there is some bollox written on here. I was there yesterday. The passion and character of the team cannot be doubted. It's the defending that stank the place out!

We see the game the same way. How can anyone question Cabaye or Zaha's commitment to the team yesterday.

Yesterday was gung ho tactically, we'd had various warnings in the game regarding the prowess of Burnley's counter attack, yet we didn't learn.

What I don't understand is when other teams have a corner, why we insist on having everyone back, we never leave anyone up top to occupy a couple of defenders. It's a pretty simple tactic that worked yesterday for Burnley.
