I really don't think Pardew can push us on any further, he has reached his limits and it's time to go in my opinion. Other managers: Pardew in or Pardew out?

I think on balance I'd have to go for out. His record in 2016 makes me concerned that he won't be able to turn it around and, if he goes now, there's plenty of time for a new manager to decide what's needed in January and with more than two thirds of the season left to turn things around. I was for giving him longer at the end of last season, but I think his poor form has now gone on long enough.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

IN ! Yes, we are on a bad run of results. Axing our manager is not the answer.
We move in the direction of our thoughts. |

In for now, but review situation after the Arsenal game on New Year's Day. If we are in bottom 3.... OUT!

Sadly Out. No sign of him turning round a 10 month shocking run. my choice would be Sean Dyche Edited by Andy_G (07 Nov 2016 11.53am)

I get the feeling that IF the times comes this season when the 'Board' are considering alternatives to Pardew, they will consider Coleman. NO, 'Inside information' on this, just a "Feeling in my water".

IN IN IN (However he needs to remove the naivety in our play and make sure the opposition are marked.) Oh and play FRYERS from the start against City.
Palace 13th 2017/18. |

I'd give him four games. The City game is a freebie and any points picked up against them would be a huge bonus. After that we have an unbelievably important run against Swansea, Southampton and Hull. He needs 5 points minimum from that group of games, if not then I would want to get rid while there is still time to get a new manager in for January.

I'd respect the board either way. I don't feel as precious about backing him now (ok, add me to the panty wetters list if you must). On the same score, I'd be happy if he was given longer. In general I am always in favour of boards sticking with their managers.

If he hasn't learned by then it's his fault. I'd be looking now though to be ready.

In This is nothing like the Holloway era or even Warnock ptII. Saturday wasn't like New Years Day 2011, we juts need some fine tuning. The players are still clearly playing for him. See where we are in next half a dozen games or so both in terms of points and performance.
