Should we play like Liverpool?

We probably can't match some of their individual talent (Coutinho) but we share a team style at the moment. Exciting going forward but somewhat dubious in defence. We are scoring goals so should we capitalise on that? We seem to have moved from a 'defend and hit on the break' team to an 'attack and score more than them' team. Our possession stats have gone up with this change.

So should we set up further to accommodate this style? This might mean a team with two strikers on the pitch with a defence geared to cope with other team hitting on the break. Do we have the players to do this?

No, we don't have the players to do this, nor the squad depth like Liverpool. They play a very energetic game which would require a good squad rotation and very fit players.
I don't believe we have either

You'd need elite level fitness training to even attempt this, so clearly no.

Yes I agree that the necessity for rotation would be difficult. We should be able to do something about fitness in a professional football team though?

Klopp was trying to get them playing like this last season & even that squad wasn't fit/fast enough. If it takes a year for them to get there then we'd be looking for at least the same & that's a luxury we can't afford.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Score loads and concede loads. Depends what you like to watch. Yes we probably should play like them , or barcelona or man city to name a few. Do we have the ability no. Do we have the money to buy players suited to those clubs. No. Discussion closed.

Very easy to want what someone else has got. Liverpool at the time of writing are top of the league. Will they finish there though? They made two finals last year and lost both. They aren't in Europe this season. Not something to be overly excited about in my opinion

I think we should play more like this team:

Especially with our record in the first half. They always came good in the 11th hour.

To play like Liverpool you need players who can pass the ball first-time, in tight situations, accurately. We don't have that many players who can pass the ball accurately even when they have space.

So no.
