Awful news. Bad enough for all involved but especially poignant for a Palace fan to lose his life. Thoughts with all the families. RIP.

Obviously tragic whoever the poor sods are but gutted to hear it's a young Palace fan. 19 is so young. Whole life ahead of them. Terrible day for Croydon yesterday.

Reading the report it sounds like the design, engineering, signage and lighting were contributing factors. I think we have to assume the driver didn't deliberately crash meaning it's not much of a criminal case. There is certainly negligence - which is noted. I'm presuming all the victims have been/ are being compensated but that may not be in the public domain.
