Seems like a nice chap and as down to earth as it gets for a modern premiership player. Quite to the contrary of supposed insiders like Secret Footballer. Connor is an ambassador for Help for Heroes I'm sure he does a significant amount for them.

This is the problem with so many people - They know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

It was 11 because of the 11th at 11:00 obviously. If he'd of done Ł instead of pennies and that prompted a social media trend that went viral he could end up having to say he can't afford it. That would be much worse for the charity and for his pubic image than 'just' donating Ł650.
