Lost to Mexico at home, Just lost 4-0 away to Costa Rica, could be getting his pink slip.

Of course, they ignore the fact that Mexico are on the brink of something great and Nobody wins in Costa Rica except Costa Rica, and that the US team quality just isnt there (slim pickings to chose from).

But, if he gets the push, would you want him as England manager ? I know i would.

No. We'll have him and Pardew can fulfil his dream of managing England

Southgate has been all but confirmed. Set to be announced at the end of the month, I suspect the FA might be hedging its bets though to see if something better comes up.

Beating Scotland and Malta, getting a lucky draw against Slovenia and throwing away a two goal lead in the last five minutes against Spain, doesn't suggest an improvement to me.

I am not in the know, and frankly not that bothered either, but a lot of the speculation seems to be that he isn't being offered the job.

Certainly can't see he's done much to earn it.

Is 4 games enough to show whether you are good enough ?

What has disappointed me is that he has stuck with exactly the same players which have let down before.

As him being U21 manager, I would have expected some to have come through to the senior squad.

said it before: the similarities b/w JK and AP are uncanny. both cock full of themselves but have no ability to see what's right in front of their faces. still, AP is head and shoulders above JK as far as tactics, and that's very sad.

the US team has our best talent top to bottom probably ever and the man still getting bent over by the dogs in CONCACAF. would be a perfect england manager. have at it.

The US middle of the park is slow and lethargic, only people in the team worth mentioning are Howard, Brooks, Pulisic, Yedlin and Wood. Good youth for the future, but they have to grow, the rest are all past their best.
JK has take the US further than they deserved to go in the last WC, and Germany much further than anyone expected in 2006.

germany: they should be in the semi's of any tournament they get to, at least.

US: we've not progressed at all. gone backwards, actually during his time. and the talent isn't fantastic but it's actually improved. and i have a high bar. he has more to work with and got worse.

the guy sucks. he's a motivator, fitness guy. good ambassador. that's it. not a manager. it's plain to see.

Given the fact that our new investors are from the USA & SP was over there for quite some time in the summer my guess is that pretty much whatever they need to know about JK has already been discussed internally.

Sometimes timing (our position has not materialized overnight) / availability ( suddenly he is available) sways the decision.
