Benteke & Wickham to start next match?

I like to think Pardew is capable of some kind of learning process, along the lines of:

"oh... that worked out quite well"
[substitution]
"oh... that didn't"

We looked really dangerous with Puncheon and Zaha working the wings and getting balls in towards Wickham and Benteke. Benteke gives the defenders so much bother that they have trouble dealing with another forward man in there.

I'm still trying to work out what Pardew had been taking that caused him to think replacing Benteke with a squad midfielder was anything other than bonkers given the way things were looking. If we had been 2-1 up then maybe, but we weren't even under the pump at that point. That change took the pressure off City, gave them more time with the ball up our end, and confused our own players to the point where they (again) forgot how to defend.

FFS, if I lived down south I'd offer to drive this muppet to the job centre right now.

Another mismanaged defeat, what is the matter with the manager, can he not read the game better, why oh why bring on Lee,we have scored and look good ,press on for a win and he does that ,takes of Benteke, stuffs the teams confidence, and pop! We lose again,I have to add as soon as I heard Toure was playing and had apologised it had to be him brought us down, bloody typical!!!Couldnt have waited till next week to apologise eh!!
