I liked Gayle. Enjoyed watching him play. He brought an energy and spark to many of the games he played in. Was gutted we sold him. But clearly there was a reason managers hardly used him . He won't be banging goals in left right and centre if / when the toon get promoted. Simple reason being the opposition Will be of a much higher standard then it currently is in the championship and they will be mid table at best. He might score a few but not like we are seeing at present.
