Looking back on performance of managers over the past years, Pardew isn't much worse than average:-

Win ratio (league games)

Dowie - 40%
Taylor - 36%
Hart - 21%
Burley - 25%
Freedman - 32%
Holloway - 31%
Pulis - 44%
Warnock (2014) - 19%
Pardew - 39%

Whilst current performance is s***, he did enjoy a degree of success

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

Trouble is he's still here and the way things are going his % won't be that high for long.

Totally irrelevant stats.

Some managed in administration, championship and Premier, how can you possibly have a fair comparison.

As I've already said on similar threads, it's not the historical data overall that matters, it's the current direction of travel.

Even though its low the most important ratio is Hart's @ 21% to keep us up 2009/10 after the points deduction and having to sell players like Moses.

Having just spent £50 million and with the massive wages we are now paying it's a pointless comparison.
