I put them right on Twitter explaining that he can't cut it in the premiership just as everyone has found out with other great Championship goalscorers Cameron Jerome at Norwich , Bamford at Boro and Murray with us .

Never had the footballing brain or workfare to play lone striker role, which is all we've played for years now. Maybe benefiz can improve him in that regard, but I'd be wary getting carried away. Unless Gayle has improved his all round game he still won't cut it in The Prem next season. Having decent players around him in The Champ, and he is a good finisher, is very, very different to being up against the likes of Cahill and others where he will be bullied off the ball and outpaced again.
