Great to see him doing so well and praise being heaped on him by the media.

But I really thought we should have brought him back, he's probably more flexible than Townsend or Zaha in that he can play on either flank and centrally too.

I think he would have been a more like for like replacement to Bolasie than Townsend has been. Pardew liked to use Bolasie as a supporting striker and as the left winger, I think Moses could have done that, and we are seeing that he gives more defensively than Townsend.

Still, I hope he keeps doing well and stays in the Chelsea team for this season and beyond.

I was sad to see him go in the first place, but we needed the money, badly, and Wigan got a great deal. I'm surprised it took him so long to really get established at Chelsea but I think that was more to do with their set up.

Under Conte and a 3-5-2 he really looks like the player I remember in his last season with us.

That and Mourinho's tendency to alienate certain players for whatever reason. See Schweinsteiger and Uniteds general crapness this season.
Moses, great player with a tragic family history too. I remember reading that he came over here as an orphaned asylum seeker after his parents were murdered.

That is correct, his parents were murdered in the ethnic violence that periodically sweeps Nigeria.
