Getting a SIA Licence

Does anyone know a legit place to go on a SIA security course? Are they very expensive? Hi mate, got mine a while back from Ashley Commerce Centre in Ilford, was a two min walk from Gants Hill tube. My firm put me through it so no exact cost but pretty sure it was �250 for the course and a further �250 to the SIA to apply for a license. I'm sure if Gants Hill is too far you can call some local security firms, its a very close knit industry and they'll take back handers from the course instructors if they recommend somebody. [Link] possibly not the type of licence you want, but that Home Office site gives details of all approved training organisations for all types of licenses.
