Watford on Boxing Day - lift from Ashford (Kent)?

Hi all Normally Southeastern run trains from Ashford to St Pancras on Boxing Day. This year they're only running them from Gravesend. I'll be at my folks' place near Ashford. Hoping to be able to get to Watford for the match but my only hope is to find a generous Palace fan nearby who'd be willing to let me have a seat in their car in exchange for petrol money. Know anyone who might be able to help? Please put us in touch...

Thanks for the well-meaning suggestion though, legaleagle Southeastern always run a restricted service on Boxing Day (High speed only) but most years I could at least get to London. I managed to get from Ashford to Selhurst for the Southampton game under Warnock for example! Away games can be a challenge though. I could have got match tickets for Bournemouth but travelling there last year was impossible. Same again this year. Hence falling on the mercy of anyone local who might be driving.
