Do people think the score would have been the same if Mandanda had been playing...?

I genuinly don't think the score would have been any different if both Hennesey and Mandana had been in goal.

There is sadly a much bigger picture to this awful mess we are in! Pardew

I think our defending was poor but Hennesey has to take some of the blame. He rarely dives and is afraid to come out and claim or fist a ball! He needs to get stuck in!

Is it the coaching? We've never questioned keepers so much in my time of supporting Palace. Hennesey is a different player for Wales!

Hey I think Pards has to go. But the question is do we think Mandanda would have kept the score line lower..?

I just looked at all the goals again.

Goal 1) Hennessy definetely should have done better for Goal 1. It was on his side and he either did not organise well enough or he was too slow to react. In fact he did not even dive.
Goals 2: Dann is weak and then Cabaye makes a mess of the goalline clearance. Ward not tight on Fer. Hennessey not at fault.
Goals 3): Mcarthur loses first header and then bad second ball defending. Probbly little Hennessey coudl have done.

Goal 4: This was bad all round play and the whole team shoudl be blamed for not seeing the game out. Montero tricked around Zaha and Ward and both Dann and Tomkin were poor as Sigurdsom got in between them. . Hennessy made a decent save before the shot went in.
Goal 5: Tomkins missed header and then Beneteke was too slow to track back. Hennessy could have come out imposed himself.

So, overall bad defending and I am not sure other keepers would have done better.

Yes I'd say both Jules and Mandanda would have done better today. WH just isn't good enough at this level IMO

Why did not the "Arrogant one" put Jules in goal today he has far better reflexes than Wayne and does not stand there like a wet blanket. At least he can dive and make great saves unlike Wayne who today who should have stopped a couple or more of Swansea's goals. He just stands there and flaps when the ball goes flying past him. He cannot command his area and does little to arrange his defenders. I noticed on only one corner today he had a man on each post which is basic set piece protection.
Jules must have really upset the "Arrogant one" to be either on the bench or back at home which proves to me and many others that he does not know his best team. I have a feeling that if Steve Parish does not do something soon we will be up to our necks in the mire.
I also wonder who and what training our team actually gets during the week ????

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Dont worry, after today even I say Pards has to go and Ive been defending him forever.

However, I find it remarkable how not many are having a go at the players.

Some of our midfielders and defenders are very much due the same disrespectful insults as pardew has received imo.

I think it's unfair blaming our keeper, who ever is in goal . Our defence has been going downhill since WBA away last season . Back to the goalies. Has any one else notice how Mandana used to come out and collect the high balls . But I haven't seen him do this for a number of games now . Hennessey also comes out and collects the high ball for Wales but not us . Is this down to the coach .
