Average Al would be more appropriate. It took until last week doe me to decide he should go. It will take more than a win to change back. Let's just enjoy the three points, as far as the manager goes, what will be will be.

Well as we saw last week scoring four goals away from home is excellent provided the other lot don't score five. This week the defence seemed transformed and much more solid and confident. We conceded little in the way of chances, and for the first time in some weeks got through a whole match without doing anything stupid. But one swallow doth not a summer make, and he has a reputation for falling back into poor runs. And I remain concerned about squad management and some players aren't growing under his coaching (Kelly) or responding to him (Townsend) as they should be; and included in that is fitness. Nevertheless, chuffed as bunnies after our best performance and result of the season so far.

One game means nothing. He could quite easily lose away to hull and continue this shocking run. I'm happy to come on here and admit I'm wrong if he turns this round, I don't think I have much to worry about thought

Agree, too early to judge - a run of seven without loss will go a good way to restoring full faith in Al. 15 - 21 points will be very acceptable. COYP

The next 4 losses from tough games after Hull we will see but if he had have thought about that beforehand and preserved points his arrogant or or poor foresight wouldn't have been a problem. But AP makes these problems, the pretty much because he doesn't value prem points enough.

I see we are above the champions in the table, and 6 points off a European place and mother f***ers are still talking about sack Pardew. Is it Sack Ranieri this week then? Sack Bilic? Chill out!!!

One pundit declared Palace to be a team that could win 7 then lose 7 on the bounce and that mid table is the slot designated for us.......in as many words. So don`t worry and accept our task, which is to stay up . Some nice wins and some rainy days ahead. So give Pardew another season or two.
