I hadn't realised, but we are joint 5th in goals scored, tied with Spurs - we are also 4th worse for goals conceded!
It is just a case of defending properly and we will do fine.
Its quite simple really.

I couldn't care less, as long as we get the 3 points!

What could prove very important come May is that we have a massively better goal difference than virtually every other team in the bottom eight.

I have often thought that this has been a function of how we are set up as team during our time in the Prem - when we're scoring loads we're letting them in (Pardew, Holloway), when we are getting clean sheets (ie with Pulis) we don't seem to score many. This is where you see a difference between the managers' philosophies I guess. The attacking version is more fun to watch but high risk.

IMO leaking goals is the key to who gets relegated.

Last season's bottom 3 were -20 minimum. Can't remember us think -8.

At present we are -2 if we can get it up to 0 and keep it there will be significantly better than other lower clubs.

Swansea and now West Ham getting leaky.

..only the whistle stopped us making the score 5-5 and then possibly 5-6! It would have been the best ever game of all time ever in the Premiership, MOTD could not get enough of the 5-4 same as the papers and neutral fans would have been fighting to get on their bums in front of the TV to watch it, everyone loves goals, for anyone to say they would rather see us win without conceding as far as I'm concerned are nuts, I hate sterilised football which the big money clubs have killed our game with.

But it was a $h!t match, devoid of any quality!
