Always gets slated so thought I would mention what a great header and good work ethic when he came on! Pleased our fans responded with der der der der Frazier Campbell don't forget peeps he only cost us 900,000 pound and has got some vital goals for us. Fair play to him

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

Like many on here I'm not his biggest fan, but I hate the abuse he gets, so I'm really pleased for him.
No one deserves the type of comments aimed at him, so I hope many didn't celebrate his goal.

Doesn't deserve abuse as he always works hard. Not good enough to be relied on regularly, but does his best.

Much like Gayle he has never really suited our style and is in that gap between too good for Championship but not quite good enough for consistent Premiership. Can never fault him for effort and when he is in the box he has a tendency to get a goal. Well taken today and put himself about trying to close down. With our defence looking leakier than the titanic, we need to be defending from the front.

Can we start him in defence against Man U then?

Everyone will be in defence against Man U (but we've got Fellaini playing for us up front in their midfield.)

I think I observed about us playing two up front with Wickham and Benteke just before the former was injured, that the amount of bother Benteke nakes for the defence is such that a second striker can take all sorts of advantage, as Whickham did that day and Campbell has done today. Under those circumstances a player not strong as a lone number nine can make an impact.

Lose Benteke and we're in the s***.

Not his biggest fan but he always gives 100 per cent. More than can be said for a few these days. Certainly more worthy of a squad place than Remy.

How is it so hard to get Fraizer's name right?

Nobody on here seems to get it.

He was certainly excellent today - shap, skilful and energetic, He must have delighted in silencing the home fans who barracked him all, afternoon including the long periods when he was warming up on the touch line.

GENUINELY delighted for his point-saving goal today. In a perfect universe, he would garner much confidence and display of ability to make a much needed goal scoring difference in matches to come...and I say that not to keep heaping too much expectation upon Benteke. DEFENCE though is everything.
