While yesterdays game demonstrated everything that is wrong with pardew and this current palace team, and why pardew should be out the door quite frankly, I think Fryers was actually quite good from what I saw yesterday. He's very direct and i think retained the ball nicely. I remember he played a very nice lobbed ball to Ledley in the centre of the park from his left back position, having beaten his man, then proceeded to run down the wing, later linking up with the attack. I think he brings a good bit of tempo to our game, and whilst I'm not sure I've seen enough of him to say if he's better defensively than sourae, he looks pretty calm on the ball to me. Received a lot of abuse on here but I think he has defiantly improved and I think he may prove to actually be a decent signing after all. Reason enough to re-apoint Warnock I say!
