Well thanks for letting me know Alan.

I won't waste my time bothering to make the journey then.

See, he does care about us fans after all !!

Chelsea look unbeatable. Maybe watch the presser and get the quotes right. At no point did he say we would do anything other then get on the pitch and try and cause an upset, he was just acknowledging their incredible form.

He should choose his words more carefully IMO. Saying they are in 'unbeatable form' just sounds like coy expectation setting so the fans can't really expect to much! We'll lose and then he'll be vindicated for another game cos he did say they were 'unbeatable' after all ...

I hate his pre match comments, his post match comments, his tactics (or lack of), his substitutions, his arrogance and his stupidity! He's a grade A Numpty!

I have to say I thought Pardew was extremely passive and subdued this morning. No talk at all of trying to make it difficult or being fired up for a local derby etc.

Just praising Conte and his team and generally being meek and humble!

I hope he hasn't been conducting training sessions acting like that that since Wednesday night!

It's all mind games.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Perhaps he can finally see the writing on the wall.

well maybe as we are the home team

1. press from the kick off and don't allow the opposition all the ball in first 15 minutes as we did against Utd, city, Liverpool and even West Ham.
2. Play our best players in their best positions - football can be a simple game if u don't over think it
3. Don't concede from set pieces
4. Don't make 3 substitutions just for the sake of it
5. Play to our strengths - get Benteke more involved
6. Don't sit back in the last 10 minutes inviting the opposition to score

So you can see it, I can see it. Wonder when it will click for Pardew....

In truth they are unbeatable by us. Only those at the top plus those that are playing well at the moment will give them a hard game. But would still lose in Chelsea's current form. But they would come out of it having given Chelsea a game which would please the fans on the losing side because they gave it a go. As for us I'm going tomorrow on the back of an awful (league) 2016 and I know we have no chance whatsoever. I think this is the first time other than our first few months in the prem under Holloway to I feel this way about Palace. We made changes then to take us forward and to be able to compete against anyone in the premiership. Today we have a far better squad but are no better in terms of competing against the rest to keep us in this division. I hope that I'm proved wrong tomorrow (don't believe I will) and that Pardew pulls us together and we start looking like a side too good to go down?

I don't care weather Chelsea are unbeatable by us or any other team in the league.

I want to see a manager with some fire in his belly, not paying the opposition team and Manager compliments all the F****ng time

Welcome to Selhurst Im AP have a jolly good game and by the way take it easy on us will you 5 goals only please, we don't want you to make us look like a Sunday team.

Show some bloody fight Pardew stop sucking up to others and by the way do yourself a favour and don't substitute Jimmy Mac at 75 minutes Saturday.

Okay good say worse but is Pardew worth it ? my guess no
