Been on the fence a while now over Pards but have now come to the end of my tether.

The league form aside, we seem to have issues all over. Our defence does not look robust, solid or organised. Our midfield has little or no creativity, no pace, no runner.
We have one striker albeit not Pards fault but when you are seeing Gayle score every week you then question his decisions.
The major thing for me has been the rush in his head to out Jedinak. On a footballing level you can understand that but then you are left with no leaders. For me the signs of the togetherness which saw us over the line the past few seasons are gone. Jedinak had everyone in that chaging room in order, that seems evident to me from what I see.

This team lacks belief and there seems to be no winning mentality. We can't seem to see half's out let alone game's out and it's time for a change.

We all wanted Al to succeed but for me this is now on the same level as when Holloway was in charge in the premiership. We are in a complete rot!

Take away Al's past affiliation with the club and this guy would have been long gone let's face it.

The "Pardew in or out" thread is already available for your erudite musings [Link]

Hey Mr Tosser, have you noticed that no one else is using that so clever adaption of Pardew's name? Your intelligence must be on a whole different level.

You have obviously not been "on the fence" if Jedi is the major reason you want him out. That didn't just happen today! Now be honest, are you just following the popular opinion posted on this forum?

I think "on the fence" suggest's i've been indifferent with my feelings towards Pardew before now but is that surprising? I was willing to give him a chance. If I was following popular opinion I have had about 2 or 3 months to give this 'popular opinion'.

In regards to Jedi... I am merely questioning his decision to let him go! Hardly the complete catalyst for my opinion of wanting him out. I suppose hindsight is a wonderful thing but team spirit is huge for a club like ours in my opinion.

I am on the other side of the fence to you, obviously it would not be the biggest shock in football if AP did get the sack and I would not fall off my chair but if we were to get rid now and and get the same results from a new manager where would go then. The players are still giving it a go and the vast majority at the home games are not venting too much anger. One way or the other it will change but I think he should get a bit longer yet.

Ok. Fair enough.

So, what you really mean is, because we lost to a team who have only lost 2 games this season, and are top of the league, you have now decided we need a new manager?

That's all you needed to say really.

Yeah he and the rest of us base our opinions on one match and not the 9 months of football and results that have been truly abysmal.

Go and visit the quacks, on Monday if you remember.

Why the need for the narky comments? Yes we lost today to a good side but at the end of the day everyone spouting all this rubbish about our performances being good today and Wednesday, I disagree. We have sat back and lost both games with no intent to go and get a result.

No point pussy footing around the problems here. We seem incapable of getting results. This is not based from 2 bloody games! Wake up and look at the 2016 form! How much time does he need to turn it around? For a team in 'transition' we have lost all the bread and butter games - Burnley, Swansea, West Brom, West Ham, drawing at Hull. He''s giving us a huge mountain to climb the way things are going.
