Hi guys and gals... Poor Alan is spending today and tomorrow in hospital having Chemotherapy to try and beat Cancer. Most of you know him as a very affable loyal Palace fan who has supported our team home and away through thick and thin for about 50 years... man and boy. You may be aware that I have my health problems and Alan regularly checks on me by sending a cheery message by PM... as do quite a few other kind HOL members (you know who you are folks). Alan missed the Man Utd game last week due to another bout of Chemo and I don't know if he'll be well enough to go to Watford. From what I know, the treatment leaves you pretty weak and feeling wretched (even though it's doing a job to kill the cancer cells). Spare a moment to send him a cheery message... let him know he's not alone... he has the HOL family behind him roaring him on to victory.

Thinking of you Alan......as I found out, you just have to lie back, grit your teeth and let them do what they have to do to get you back to health. May the light shine brightly at the end of the tunnel for you.
