As the OH and I sit here in perfect harmony, drinking our post prandial coffee and munching After Eights, completely content with our day so far, we can only feel sorry for those who didn't get the gifts they wanted, have to put up with relatives they can't stand and are generally pissed off with Christmas before the Queen has spoken to the nation. So,come on then, Holers - who's had a stinker of a day, rowed with the in-laws/wife/kids, had a disaster with the turkey or general feels ready to stuff the last of the Paxo where it was never meant to go?

Not a stinker but a stressful day. 4 kids, still wrapping presents at 11pm last night. All day cooking, tidying up, kids squabbling over toys. Throw in my little girls birthday. Haven't opened any of my own presents yet neither has husband . Just haven't felt as though I have enjoyed it all this year. May approach things differently next year . No visitors on Christmas eve or day being one thing in mind .

f*** me. Just seen the news about george michael dying. You know what. Scrub the post moaning about the day. There are people in the world who lost someone they loved today or those who took their last breath. Be grateful myself and my family have their life . X
