Perversely that's still a very good first XI, Flamini should help with the balance at the back and ball possession so Cabaye and Puncheon can express themselves a bit more. The midfielders need to sail through without injury today though, any one gets injured and we're most likely finished.

We shouldn't expect miracles from Allardyce.At Sunderland he lost 8 out of his first 11 games ! He joined Sunderland in October and his first game there was in their 9th league match.His first game today for us will be our 18th game and we cannot afford to lose 8 out of first 11 under him ! It will be a tough, tough game for us - only Arsenal next ! Could be a baptism of fire for "Big Sam". Edited by Willo (26 Dec 2016 11.46am)
