I thought in the first half today we were almost unplayable
Flamini and Cabaye in midfield look fantastic
Townsend played well because he's a confidence player and he knows Sam loves him
Yep gave away a sloppy goal , but thats gonna change
This team with Sam will finish above mid table no doubt

Agree apart from 'This team with Sam will finish above mid table no doubt.' Maybe, maybe not but it should go well.

Really gutting considering the 1st half today. But it's promising. He got good tunes out of Cabaye, Flamin and Townsend, especially Cabaye. In fact they all looked a bit sharper today. New manager will hopefully last a long while.

Good to see us close down in 2's or 3's and one in midfield reading it and staying put. That will help us a lot instead of Jimmac doing most of it.

Arsenal are not finding things easy at the moment. Maybe, just maybe.

If we play like that today against Arsenal they will hit us for 6.
I don't think the team actually know what they are doing.
Watford were poor today but deserved at least a point.we don't seem to tackle anyone and we need a left back as a priority as Ward is out of his depth in that position.
Lucky the other results went for us again today.

it was a decent point away from home but lets be honest.

we played no differently than we did under pards

and townsend played well ashe was in his best position

Wouldn't expect us to play much different after one day.

Feel that the press conference afterwards was refreshing- he identified basic issues rather than the "the lads gave it their all, desperately unlucky at the moment" rubbish that Pardew used to give. Also felt like Sam would make changes to address issues f required whereas Pardew kept doing same thing and expecting different result.

Do you think we'd have held on to a point today with pards in charge?

No he would have gone for the win ,taken off a midfielder a chucked Campbell on for the last ten minutes

And we still need a striker

Don't think we looked in any trouble today, probably cos Watford were shyte, we looked quite organised and we did ok in the midfield considering we had MacArthur and Ledley missing.
