I've been banging this drum for a while now but seriously that was absolutely dreadful tonight.

Forget pardew, parish, the ref, the crowd and Allardyce. These players need to stand up and be counted and show us that they give a s***. I've never been one to align with booing the team but i haven't seen a performance for a while that deserved it as much as that.

We palace fans do not want for alot but a bit of flaming passion and desire wouldn't go amiss. Not for thirty minutes but from the start of the match. After a terrible first half we grind our way back into the game to then instead of going for the jugular against a side who are dreadful away WE SIT OFF. What the hell is that!!!!

Sam has a huge job on his hands to change the mentality of this team.

One positive - the window is open and a top class LB must be around the corner. Kelly is destroying this team, he's stunting the attack and giving the whole back four the jitters.

So fecking angry....

Tonight you could see that the players kept passing sideways and backwards. They have little inclination to move forward.

We have been slated Campbell and Sako are only good for the Championship but they did change the game's momentum. Now that our place in the Premiership might be the last we might have to keep both of them.

This was the worst performance I can remember for a long long time. Almost embarrassing. We were given a football lesson by the team bottom of the league. Not sure what the problem is here. But i am trying to come to terms with the strong possibility of Championship football next season

Agree. Players are as culpable as the manager.
Need a starting left back and keeper for the next game or Julian if we can't get one in time.

Absolutely agree, although a vastly improved second half.
Campbell and Sako really showed the big earns Benteke and Townsend how to put some effort in. Cabaye was equally unimpressive, he's far too slow getting round the park. I've already slated Puncheon so I'll leave it there for the negatives tonight.

I think there has to be some realisation that a big section of this group of players are not good enough. And I think BS is now seeing that too.

Hennessy continues to divide opinion.

In front of him we have the two worst full backs in the PL ( taking into account Ward being played on the left ). We have an ageing centre back who although willing to give his all has now given us his best. Dann who looks shellshocked most of the time. And Tompkins who looks to still be struggling fitness wise.

We have a midfield that is hopeless when the opposition have the ball. Too lightweight. Offer little protection to the back four.

Wilf is maturing all the time, but with Bolaisie gone, he's carrying the burden on his own. Townsend looks like he's just waiting for this window to be put out of his misery.

Benteke....doesn't exactly put in a shift does he ? His inability to hold the ball up has actually surprised me. Granted he doesn't get great service but he's not looking like he's one to make things happen on his own.If it's back to the drawing board Pulis style, this guy needs to really sharpen up.

What stands out is that this team lacks ' Spine '. An old adage, but true - that's what you build teams around.

the area that is utterly inexcusable is the fitness levels. Any professional sportsperson should at least ensure they are in the best possible state of fitness to do what they need to do. Too many of these players simply aren't. It is a disgrace that players like Cabaye and Benteke simply don't look capable of running as well as the opposition.

Fitness needs to be built from pre-season Pulis style IMO.

Thought for a while that the team generally lacks players with pace or gears and this has been one of biggest reasons losing Bolasie and Souare has been such a blow.

Players such as Ledley, Puncheon and Cabaye have never been quick but have now reached the age where they've become even slower.

Massive oversight by Pardew.

Whilst I would agree re fitness it doesn't explain the sluggish start and then being able to harry and chase after a chastening from Sam at HT.

yep it will be very difficult to build up fitness levels now and I am sure that is one of the reasons Allardyce has said we may not see improvements until Feb. I hope he's wrong or we get lucky because if we play like tonight we will be 6 points adrift of safety or maybe more by then.

Ironic that the delivery into the box 2nd half would of suited benteke. Hope this isn't some awful catch 22.

BIG FAT CASH SAM sent the team out with his instructions. Once again Puncheon especially at the start was in front of the 2 central defenders. Hey SAM is he really Claude Makele in disguise.

Better 2nd half ? Too little too late.

I did'nt want BFCS I still don't want him and if we can't beat Swansea at home we really are in a dogfight. BFCS was going to stiffen us up at the back ? Oh yes its early days !! but losing two goals at home to the MIGHTY SWANSEA !!

Sorry but BFCS is just so wrong for Palace
