right i get it, were s*** right now but i still think the same as under pardew...we wont go down.

heres my view on the current players being used as scapegoats by various posters.

cabaye...yes i get it, he cost us a few quid & gets decent wages but he is quality, look at the majority of the games this season (apart from the 1st month where he was getting over a lack of break) and hes been decent, best player on the park against most of the top teams.

benteke...yes i get it, he cost us a few quid & gets decent wages but he is quality. forget the fee, if that was murray with a 1 in 2 ratio over almost 20 games you would all be cumming in your pants.

joel ward...jesus h christ, allbeit he was born on the south coast but he is the epitome of what we expect from a palace player, hes a very good full back, yes, granted he sometimes gets run ragged against the best in the league but if he didnt he would not be at palace...as far as im concerned hes solid enough for us.

townsend...yes i get it, he cost us a few quid & gets decent wages but he is quality, he was one of the very few last night to come out of that 1st half with any credit, yes there was a few loose passes but he looked decent to me. hes been played out of position to accomodate wilf so he wont be 100%, thats fine in my eyes, taking one for the team so to speak.

scotty dann... cost us a pittance, for our team, a rolls royce of a defender, granted in poor form currently but is by far the best CB we have.

puncheon...some of the comments recently deserve a red card, lets not forget BFCS has taken it upon himself to play him as a DMF...what the f***? retains possession well for me and no need to salg him off whatsoever.

there are probably more players being slated but i just feel its very sad how suddenly everybody is s***.

before pards left we had a gameplan, granted the defence was leaky but everybody could see what we were trying to do, last night i saw a team frightened to pass the ball forward or take any initiative.

i dont want BFCS as manager, but im sure he will keep us up.

He has to stop being a t*** and playing wilf LW, and swap cabaye & punch around tho.

BTW...i dont see us getting any points before wilf is back from the AFCON as our season depends on him turning it on and nothing else.

Every single player apart from Hennessy and Wilf are shadows of their former selves whether with Palace or from times gone by elsewhere.

They all deserve a wet haddock slapped around their collective heads.

Brauny, your version of quality is very different to many, i'd hazard a guess.

I'm pretty sure both Pardew and BS have been playing Wilf out of position to accommodate Townsend. What you have put about these two is very conflicting.

Puncheon drops back now and again, would hardly say he's been playing as a DM.

The problem was Pardew didn't have a game plan hence the position we're in now.

I really don't understand where you saw the passing football under Pardew, we were lumping it to Benteke long before BS's arrival.

I agree with most of your post, but I cannot agree about Townsend. The man must have some ability to get in England squad, but he is not performing here. He very rarely finishes a game, always substituted, just looks unhappy to be here. The man is the cancer that is ruining our team spirit. I would play Lee or Sako instead of him everytime, at least they try.

Hennessay also has had dogs abuse on here, mainly unwarranted he is a competent keeper, not a world beater, but we aren't going to get one of those.

1...Where was punch started last night?
2...we played attacking football, when we started the game you knew how we were going to attack the other side.

can you honestly say that in either of BFCS's 3 games weve looked like a coherent team?

Punch has been awful for some time now, there's no hiding from that I'm afraid, regardless of where he's played he has contributed nothing.

Punch needs dropping. He always plays better after a kick up the backside
