Jesus. I hope we have 2 new signings starting in this one. I reckon Benteke and Dann won't be available for the full 90 either so at least a left back and centre back. A real winger instead of Puncheon as well but that's probably asking too much. Edited by leejaneagles (12 Jan 2017 9.13am)

i admire your outlook but even then, playing the 5 in defense when none of them have ever played with another one (apart from delaney/speroni) is just inviting disaster. they wont have even trained with each other even if they all signed tonight...

GK: Hennessey To all intents and purposes the same system we played in the second half at home to Man City, the first half away at Swansea, and the second half away at Burnley - ie with the wide players sitting deeper and providing proper cover for the full backs. This is obviously on the basis of us not signing anyone - the arrival of Jenkinson/Van Aanholt/Schlupp/Brady would clearly shake things up a fair bit instantly.
