Probably learnt a lot from his mistakes. Probably also stubbornly refused to learn from some of them too.

I'd wish him well. Spent most of his personal fortune on keeping Palace going. Some misguided decisions along the way and yes poor judgement and stubbornness didn't always help!

Yeah I agree. I've always struggled a bit to dislike him. A prat, but one with Palace at heart.

He'd be better off using his last few mill on premium bonds.

But nobody will stop him when he has an idea.

Well initially he did a pretty good job here. Ok it all started to fall apart around 2007/8, and he is a bit of a t***, but I reckon he could do a job there.

No ownership issue. They don't own the ground but had a dispute with the owners over the high rents that they were being charged so moved elsewhere for a season until the ground owners reduced the rents to a more reasonable level

Are we going to have some more of his Walter Mitty bulls*** about how he used to live round the corner from Highfield Road and climb in at night for a kick about?!

Possibly his great uncle played for them after the war?

People tend to only remember the bad bits about Simon Jordan.

Life is full of ' ifs and buts '....we were 7 minutes away from staying in the PL under Dowie. If we had of stayed up, then I'm sure the outcome would have been very different for Palace and Simon Jordan.

I prefer to remember the more entertaining aspects of his ownership.
