So Schulpp is done and Jenkinson according to Wenger will be done in a day or two. So assuming that's the first two over the line. Who else do you think we will / should sign... Rumours would suggest we've been talking with: Brady Unlike I heard on talksport I do believe we want to sign another left sided player and business won't stop at Schulpp. So simple question which one from the above would you want most?

Well you can cross out Brady now as it was him or Schulpp . Downings not my cup of tea and though Evra is quality age is against him .
And we still need a striker |

I think I'd agree. I'd love to see Evra but would agree Van Aanholt makes better sense long term. For a more long term fix then Van Aanholt is the man and if that can't be completed then Evra on a 6-18month contract. Although I'm still torn, part of me is saying just sign Evra up! Would agree that I can't see us being in for Brady anymore and I'd say Downing doesn't jump out at me as a great signing especially given his apparent wages..

I would go for Brady who can also play through the middle as box to box midfielder

Sign the best left back for the position we are in now and that is Evra I think. The Summer is the time to recruit for the longer term.

Allardyce saved Sunderland from the dreaded drop but it was a 'Slow-Burner' and they lost 8 of their first 11 games under him. Edited by Willo (14 Jan 2017 1.09pm)

Evra would be an excellent signing whether he plays or not. The experience and leadership he would bring would greatly benefit the changing room.

I think if we are buying Jenkinson then we wil be selling one of Kelly or Ward. Unless one or other is considered Central defender cover. We need cover for central defender and both can do that I think we need another striker Remy and Benteke will not remain injury free for the rest of the season. We are still short on left hand side, I am unsure where Schlupp will play is he a left back or winger. Anyway we need at least one more player on that side. I think it might be Downing as he can also play attacking midfield which we also need
