Cabaye possibly to Saints, Townsend to anyone else stupid enough to pay £13m and Benteke to anyone prepared to pay over 30m excluding w brom in return for an unfit berating. Surely that would give us enough money to buy a new back four and a defensive midfielder. Remy is a readymade replacement for Benteke. If we go down with this squad and are unable to recoup the money we have spend on this shower it will not be long until we are hamearroging money again. At least in the championship Kai Kai will get a game why oh why is he not being given a chance....Pardew should be ashamed of the mess he has left us in but Parish and co should've acted many months ago we are running out of games to turn this around"

If - as is now looking a distinct possibility - we are relegated then at least 6 of our 'stars' will want out. Given the money recouped from their sale we should be able to buy a number of good championship players and rebuild a team capable of challenging for promotion - again. If we do survive this season then a major rebuilding will be needed in the summer financed partly by the sale of 3 or 4 first team squad.

Those non performers on high wages - Benteke and Townsend for a start. They are on high wages. We won't want to saddled with a Championship high wage bill. I know there is a risk but we still could go down even by keeping them unless they improve. Benteke and Townsend would want out if we do go down as they will probably wanted by other Premiership clubs but we will not get what we paid for them.

What if China comes tomorrow and makes us an offer for Benteke, an offer we can't refuse.

Can't do a total rebuild in January. We need to find the new Jedi, an upgrade on the original. I'd of kept the original, but we needed an upgrade. Thing is Leicester found the ideal player, reasonably cheaply in Kante, so they are out there and they aren't big names. We just have to get lucky and find that midfield monster required. Add a keeper and a left back, and we could be safe.
