I cannot believe how many fans and I use this term in places very losely have already hoisted the white flag.......already relegated, get rid of Sam, slagging off the board and the biggest load of tripe ....bring back Pardew. You quite rightly rubbish the players as not caring with no effort yet you are displaying the same traits!

How can you justifiably want Sam to go when he has only been in the job about 3 weeks with Sammy Lee less than a week. This is fairly major surgery that us required that won't happen in 5 minutes. He knows what is required so let him get on with it. We need some new players and we have 2 weeks of the transfer window left.
Under performing players will either Buck up or be dropped or sold.

Losing Wickham has left us with few options up front and Remy coming back will be a major plus.

STOP the negativity and start facing reality. We all want the best for our beloved club and are used to the roller coaster.

We have got the games in front is of us to turn it around and the next point is vital.

Ditch the flags and make them red and blue!

Bring back Brolin

Next point?

Next league match is against a side that's just done Manchester City 4 - 0.

Still optimistic?

Hull got a point against them recently and nearly 3,so anything is possible.

The players have kinda given up as their desire is just not there presently and the manager doesn't look or sound like he has the energy for what is required.

He's had 5 games. Been pretty rotten so far. Some new faces and another 7 games I feel before he should face proper criticism.

It very difficult to be optimist or enthusiastic about the club at the moment.

We've staved off relegation twice after looking doomed recently. Third time lucky?

A whole host of winnable games coming up. I expect about 9 wins in a row and a top 6 place by the end of the season. And another cup final appearance.

We need to go all out and beat Bolton in mid week. I know the F.A cup isn't important but getting a win is.

I don't think it's too much the fault of the new manager but everything to do with that last one.

His so called legacy is causing us no end of problems now.

I hope I’m wrong, but I believe we are down now. There are 17 games left and even averaging a point a game would only get us to 33 points. Of these 17, regardless of last season’s results, I don’t think we can realistically expect to get anything from the games against Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and the two Manchester teams.

This means that to reach 36 points (the bare minimum to give us any chance of survival) we will need 20 more points from home games against Everton, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Watford, Leicester, Burnley and Hull and away games at Bournemouth, Stoke, West Brom and Southampton. If we had Burnley’s home record we could do it, but we don’t.

If we repeat last season’s results, even allowing for wins against Middlesbrough, Burnley and Hull, we will gain just another 14 points and the way things are going I don’t see us getting anything out of Everton, Stoke or maybe even Bournemouth this time round. That would reduce the haul to just 9 more points, giving us a season’s total of 25.

Where I’m hoping we can do better is in the home games against Sunderland and Watford, which were both defeats last season, but even six more points on to 25 won’t help us a great deal.

If by some miracle we do stay up, by bettering the results of the teams below us, it looks likely that it would be with a record low safety points total.

Frankly, given the chance, I would replace most of our lot with a team of League One grafters that would play for the shirt rather than the pay cheque. They might still go down, but at least they would go down fighting. Oh well, at least next season we might be able to rebuild.

I am a very positive person but after 1 year of nothing else but excuses and grief I am finding it difficult to remain positive. If Sam can turn this around he will earn every cent coming to him. Come on PALACE we all love you

Is what it is? We either get behind the team and go down with a fight or we moan and sulk and go down with a wimper. We are quite awful at the moment Swansea and last half hour yestetday were unexceptable but what can we do as fans? Turn up and have a sing song and try and get the boys going. I wanted Sam in and am surprised we havent had a little more initial bounce but im convinced hell get us going. Few additions next few weeks, get wilf back and benteke firing well just about be ok of we stick together. Got enough home games to survive. 3 below us, watford and boro all in the mix I feel just have to stay were we are. Were also only ones having a spend so no excuses. Need massive improvement in performance from players and fans. Starting against Everton who we normally do ok against. Get up palace Tuesday too as hard as it is at the moment we may need Bolton win to get some fringe players firing, an hour for Remy and schlupp to get their confidence and jules back in sticks in front of the holmesdale. Well worth 18 quid for me. Come on lets all put up or shut up on this board. We have every right to be negative but whats the point? Stamp your feet and dont show up in the championship if you want. While were in big league lets all have a go for 17 games and see what happens. Up the palace....

If you were blaming the last manager for our position then you must have felt the players were ok. So now you have a new manager how come all of a sudden it is the players and not the Influence of the new manager and his they shall not score negative tactics he has drummed into their players?

I don't quite get what you mean there but I think I get the gist....Pardew has left Allardyce with a mess.
And that's a fact.
Do you honestly believe any manager could sort this car crash out in a few weeks?
The writing was on the wall for all to see last year.
I think we'll go down and it won't be because of Allardyce.
