Been thinking this over for a while now and wondered other people's opinions. Do we make wholesale changes and let BFS purchase 5/6 players and implement these new players into the first team immediately or should we stick with what we've got and perhaps just add a couple to strengthen the sqaud so BFS and Sammy can work their 'magic' on them to pull us away from relegation?

We don't have time for a major overhaul of the squad, especially in the expensive January window and, if SP is to be believed, we're limited by FFP anyway. Additionally, quality players are not going to be queueing round the block to join us at the moment. SA looks like he's going for a few defensive improvements, favouring the left, which is exactly what I would have expected.

what exactly are the implications for breaking ffp? Before you all lose your sh*t I am in no way advocating doing a Leeds or QPR just if we had to exceed it by a few million what would happen to us.

I believe a points deduction is possible. It would be typical Palace to finish 4 points outside the bottom 3 and then be hit with a 5 point deduction.

Is Schlupp cup tied? Dont know for sure but with most teams playing weakened sides there must have been a good chance he was involved in the 3rd round

This window we need to bring in as close to 3-4 players. THE EXACT NUMBER OF PLAYERS WE WERE SHORT OF IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER WHEN EVERYONE WAS STROKING THEMSELVES SILLY OVER A SUPPOSEDLY 'EXCELLENT TRANSFER WINDOW' WHICH COMPLETELY IGNORED ANYTHING DEFENCE RELATED OR CENTRAL ATTACKING.' Benteke These players have not lived up to expectations but to say that these areas were "completely ignored" by the club is as silly as it is wrong. Oh, and your caps lock key seems to be stuck.
