SKY talk shlt.

I only heard cheers for Palace players.

Everton and ref were devoid of sportsmanship. That's what cost us at least a point.

Ridiculous booing the ref earlier in my opinion. Schlupp was down injured and could've got treatment but rolled back onto the pitch. The ref then saw that and refused to play his game. They then scored. End of!

That's right. We only have ourselves to blame for losing. We didn't even have a sub ready when the ball went out for a throw in. Schlupp was injured off the pitch and rolled back on when the ball was in play at the other end. There was no need for the ref to stop play.

Does the game not stop for the player to be treated once the ball goes out of play i.e. when there was the throw in? If not, when are they expected to get treatment?

End of if they score from the ref seeing that and deciding play on is okay. What you're forgetting is they didn't score direct from that they scored after a throw in.

I don't care if Schlupp was on the pitch, off the pitch or in the Sainsbury's car park, the referee stops the game whilst ball is dead and checks to see if Palace want to make a sub.

Ask yourself why a team should permanently have a man disadvantage if there hasn't been a red card? Short answer is they shouldn't. The referee does not have to stop the game whilst the ball is in play if he feels the injury isn't serious or a head injury. The t*** could have held up play when it went out for a throw in though.

I wonder if it was Rooney laying there holding his leg what would of happened if Palace took the throw.

Depends on how you look at it. Schlupp shuffled himself onto the pitch to try and get play stopped and the ref knew this. It didn't work. Had he have stayed off the pitch he could've then been treated and when ball goes out for throw we know we need to make a sub and we do that.

Either way, having a player off injured doesn't put the ball in the net. We even had the stoppage for the throw to reorganise and they didn't.
