Watching them playing Chelsea. They will probably lose but they are playing with so much spirit and giving it a real go. They and Swansea have had the new manager 'bounce' which we haven't had and both teams are going to be tough to overhaul

Hull won't be leaving the relegation zone. But I think Swansea will keep us in it too.

And we've got those teams to come too and we've not taken a single point against the top six sides

Yes I agree,I know they lost but they gave it a real go and outplayed Chelsea for long periods. They passed the ball really well and closed down and harassed Chelsea for the whole game, even though they lost two of their defenders through injury. We cannot assume they and Swansea will finish below us.Some time in the future I would like to see a young foreign manager like the new Hull guy at Palace as we must start playing a more passing high energy style if we want to compete in this division.

We need to sort ourselves out and not worry about others. I suspect some teams above us could nosedive. We took a step in the right direction v Everton but need to go up a notch at Bournemouth.

I think Allardyce is insisting they get the defence right before really working on attacking combinations. That's my theory anyway.

I think not long after the defence gets a more solid feel to it, well see the forward play coming together.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Still feel Hull will get cut adrift in the next few games but have to say I was impressed with them today.

New manager appears to know what he's doing despite what Merson and Thompson think!

Hull played well even under Phelan. If they have a bit of belief they could easily get out of it. As could Swansea and us. Sunderland however are dead and buried. Moyes has nothing to offer them.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

My tips to go down with Sunderland are Leicester and Watford. Think us Hull and Swansea will just about pull out of it? Let's hope so anyway :-)

I think Hull are preparing for relegation by selling Livermore

We're hugely lucky that 2 teams seem to have given up the ghost.

We need to start putting things into a bit of perspective. We think it's bad that our hugely expensive signings Benteke, Townsend and Cabaye aren't performing and getting frustrated that our Chairmen are making 20 offers and getting rejected for decent players.

Hull are SELLING their best players. Imagine the outcry if we didn't sign anyone this January and got rid of Zaha and Dann.

The Sunderland manager Moyes has come out and said he doesn't expect to get anyone in and if he does they will just be dogs bodies because they don't have any money. The Chairman also wants out.

I think a lot of other seasons Palace could be well adrift rock bottom by now. The fact Sunderland and Hull have pretty much said to the rest of the league "We're going down" is a tremendous boost.

All we have to do is be better than one of Middlesbrough, Swansea, Watford or Bournemouth.

I reckon we'll finish above one of Middlesbrough or Watford. Swansea will pull away IMO but right now we need to keep on their toes because they are the only team we can catch with just 1 win.

Maybe add Leicester to the list as well they seem to be really losing the plot.
