For anyone that questioned whether he cares, that celebration should answer your question. Yes, he has a lethargic movement to him at times but that's the way he plays. He's absolute quality and if we can get the service to him right he will continue to be fantastic for us. Or he'll go China.

If teams forget to mark him and he gets gifted goals like that for the rest of the season, he can celebrate however he likes.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

The celebration last night was great ( although we don't want any more yellow cards). It was certainly a lot better than that weird one he used to do looking like he had the sh1ts ! If he can put in shifts like last night then great. Even Neil Warnock on Talksh1te this morning said he should be great with the wingers we have " if he pulls his finger out" - I'm sure that Sam will be on his case to keep him going.

Game of 2 halves for big Ben. Totally garbage 1st half (along with Cabaye) then unplayable 2nd half putting himself about best half ive seen from him. His link up with AVP very promising too. Big Sam must have got into him at half time. If we can get a few bodies closer to him and he keeps grafting like that well be fine. He definitely loved it at the end seemed to be enjoying the adulation. On a side note if we could have another 10 jimmy macs we wouldnt be in this mess .He ran his socks off. A very well organised performance Tomkins excellent aswell.

He worked his a$$$ off last night, it was Cameron Jerome esque, except Benteke is actually a good player and can score for fun. Give this man crosses and he will score 20 goals a year easy. Fans of our team are a funny bunch. Criticizing the most high profile striker we have ever had is comedy to me. He is a goal machine not a donkey paid 100k to run around and smash into people. He is a class act and we need Christian Benteke more than he needs us.

Criticizm of him was justified and was not only on here it was in all the papers and the tv.
