Guys and Girls thoughts please on Connor Wickham
Before we got him from Sunderland I saw rumours that we were interested in him my 1st thought was Oh God followed quickly by saying to myself Please shut the transfer window Now as I don't rate him as a premier league Forward. Yes he's strong and fairly good in the air but I honestly don't see him being anything other than a Championship player . So would you keep him in the summer or get rid and try to recoup some of the 9 million we wasted on him. Conner if your reading this its nothing personal I just care about my Club don't want them to waste any more money on your wages for getting treatment 24/7

Very good player when fit, and kind of suits our style of play, but prone to long periods of injury.

Do players read or post on this site? or even maybe are on here but incognito.
Personally he has taken ages to prove himself for us but, has come good lately so who knows.
Injuries obviously don't help either.

Much better than championship level and Id go as far as saying he's a very good premier league player.Has excellent control, very good vision for a pass and has proved he's got a great finish on him.Its just his injuries that are letting him down again.

rate him. when on his game not many centre halfs would fancy it. unfortunately i just don't think he can stay fit for long enough periods of time to fully benefit the team

I sincerely hope not as the topics here are divided between praising our fans as being the best in the league and crucifying the players for not being good enough which as anyone with a grain of intelligence will tell you is demoralising for the players as well as being hypocritical

Bloke's made of glass. Simple as.

When he does play, I think he's a real asset. His finishing's quality and his holdup play's good to, I reckon he'd work well with Remy if Benteke's not a possibility. But he's too injured too often to be of any use. Hate to say it, but I'd get rid of him as soon as because of that.

He may have had a couple of injury problems last season but his current long term injury is the sort of thing that can and does happen to anyone including Selhurst hero Glenn Murray.

Incidentally his name is Connor

Once fit again he will be like a new signing (albeit for three games only), but we cannot deny him his place in the squad.

I would like to see more confidence from him and see his hold up play improve as often his first touch is lacking and for a big lad he seems to be muscled out too easily.

He is our third best attacking player, but I still think he could learn something from Fraizer as far as movement is concerned. If Remy signs permanently for us in the summer then we will probably listen to offers in the double figures.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

He's something of a sicknote but the quality is there, though he can go missing. Some of these sicknotes do get more resilient with time - a la Carroll and Wilshere's been OK this season - fancy tekkers, Loic and Connor fighting it out for one or two places next season, probably two if we're playing 3-5-2.

Very good player who has plenty to offer, and still only 23.

As long as we don't rush him back I'd hope he can shake some of his issues.
