Here is a positive thread. I am feeling positive because I was distraught to find I had run out of whiskey halfway through the second half - only to remember, to my immense joy, that I had another battle in the cupboard.

If we'd lost 1-0, the team could blame bad luck and referee decisions and tight margins, but getting absolutely f***ed up the arse by a team as s*** as Sunderland means that they might be on fire with determination for the rest of the season. (Okay, in reality, this defeat will crush us and leave us in the bottom 3 for the rest of the season, but that's not what this thread is about.)

Also, we have fresh players - Sakho, Milivojevic (yes I can still spell it when drunk) and Schlupp - who are untainted by this spirit of defeatism, still to come into the team and give us a boost.
